Application Instructions
Preceptorships at Mansoura University at the Urology and Nephrology Centre
Six positions will be available over the next year. The preceptorships are fully funded and are available on an occasional basis to suit the applicants' calendar. The final decision will be taken by the Trustees on the advice of the Scientific Committee (Chairman Professor J K Mellon).
Applicants should
- be committed to the pelvic surgery.
- have experience at consultant level of major pelvic surgery, probably of three to five years duration. Surgical experience would be supported by a log book record of surgery.
- have written support of administrative and clinical colleagues for the development of this work within the hospital. This would include a commitment to adequate operating time and clinical services for the surgery to be offered to all suitable patients.
- have the support of the relevant cancer network.
